Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in new construction estimating. Candidate is required to be well versed in estimating software. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications and preparing accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Utilize software such as Pacific Solutions, Floor Right for estimating purposes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control efforts
- Visit construction sites to assess conditions and gather relevant data

Experience:

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using estimating software like HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Effective communication skills for negotiating prices with vendors and subcontractors

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
