Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse supervision. This position manages a small warehouse team.

• Order fulfillment; answering phone calls for parts and sales, taking whole good and spare parts orders, place factory orders, print customer orders and take any complaints and issues from Dealers and Territory Managers
• Shipping and receiving; Loading and unloading equipment pertaining to Dealer/ LTL Truck shipments
• Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules
• Control Inventory accuracy through cycle-count and timely verification of stocks movement and record
• Plan warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization
• Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
• Office duties relating to: Issuing credit applications / security agreements for processing, bank deposits and managing office supplies and machines
• Prepare production and other reports
• Other duties as deemed necessary
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised

Qualifications:

- Post secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role

- Strong knowledge of profit loss analysis and inventory control

- Familiarity with transportation management systems

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience in demand planning and forecasting

- Knowledge of lean principles for continuous improvement

- Proficiency in transportation management software

- Understanding of procurement processes

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
