ELECTRICAL PANEL WIRING TECHNICIAN

Job Summary Responsibilities:

· Provide support for electrical systems functions

· Issue, maintain and update related documentation as required

· Ability to understand and read schematics & diagrams

· Working with electrical/control panels to ensure proper electrical wiring and systems are performed

· Perform panel upgrades and tune-ups if required

· Perform panel maintenances if required

· Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Duties:

Under the direction of the Engineering or Operations Manager, the duties may include but are not limited to the following:

· Installation and maintenance of electrical systems

· Ensures guidelines and procedures are followed

· Other duties as identified or assigned

· Capable of functioning under stressful situation(s)

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Self-starter who takes initiative

Knowledge Requirements:

· Knowledge and experience with cabling, running conduit and cable trays is a must

· Electrical circuit design/concept understanding

· Schematic & diagram reading

· Familiarity with electrical blueprints and manuals

· Familiarity with electrical equipment and tools

· Installing and managing electrical equipment/systems

· Electrical to include VFD(s) and Servos preferred

· Industrial electricity 480-690 VAC, 3Ø control system preferred

· Good solving and critical thinking skills

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3-5 Years of related experience

· Experience with wiring, running conduit, cable, and cable tray

· Experience with panel building/assembly
