Bragg Avionics Inc. is Hiring a Scheduling Coordinator Near Jacksonville, FL

Overview:

Do you enjoy organizing, planning, and scheduling? Are you a great listener and effective communicator? If so, we’d like to hear from you.

Bragg Avionics is based at Craig Executive Airport in Jacksonville, FL, and provides avionics repair and installation services to general aviation aircraft in the Southeast. We’ve been a family-owned and operated business since the 1950s. Our goal is to protect the vulnerable while providing concierge aviation services. We’re seeking a passionate, driven, energetic scheduling coordinator with an appetite for knowledge to join our team.

As the Scheduling Coordinator, you will…

  • Be the point of contact for all customers with upcoming, active, and recently completed jobs. You will be the customer's primary voice within our organization and a key advocate for their needs.
  • Maintain positive, growing customer relationships and ensure jobs are completed with clear, effectively communicated expectations internally and externally.
  • Be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts, acknowledging and handling their needs, and assuring their satisfaction.
  • Work with the Finance department to coordinate invoicing and collecting payments.
  • Work in a thriving aviation environment inside the gates of Northeast Florida’s busiest general aviation airport.

Your two primary goals will be:

  • Scheduling work to be conducted on aircraft;
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships by listening to and resolving issues, answering questions, and communicating effectively internally with other team members.

Values That Our Team Members Pursue Every Day

  • We protect the vulnerable - We will look out for our customers and their passengers as if they were our own family.
  • Safety comes first for our customers, our employees, and the public.
  • We’re all team players. We put the needs of our team before our own.
  • We’re flexible. When things don’t go according to plans, we adapt and press forward with positive attitudes.
  • We’re creative problem-solvers. We do everything we can to solve problems and utilize our resources effectively.
  • Integrity drives us. We do what’s right regarding serving customers well, tracking time, and being good stewards of company resources.
  • We’re reliable. Our customers, vendors, and team members count on us to provide excellent solutions and do the right thing if we don’t get it right the first time.
  • We exceed expectations. We seek ways to go above and beyond for each other, our customers, and our vendors. Every job is an opportunity for a remarkable, positive moment.
  • We are proud of our work, and we stand by it.

Your Typical Day

  • At the start of every day, you’ll meet with our team to discuss current jobs. You will be responsible for knowing which jobs are almost done, ongoing, and coming up in the future. You’ll be expected to fully understand and confidently navigate the company’s job schedule.
  • You will spend much of each day returning customer phone calls or taking the initiative to reach out to current customers to schedule new work or adjust the calendar based on customer needs. You need to be experienced and comfortable with maintaining a positive attitude on the phone for several hours each day.
  • Customers will have technical questions that they will expect you to answer. You are not responsible for knowing technical information, but you will be responsible for communicating answers to technical questions to customers. You’ll get those answers from other members of our team. You’ll avoid transferring customer calls to our technicians or other members of the team (they need to stay focused on their tasks).
  • You will spend time learning aviation terminology and the services that we provide so that you can communicate more effectively with customers.
  • Before the start of the next day, you will be well-prepared to communicate to our technicians and parts coordinator what’s coming up next so they can prepare accordingly.
  • Ultimately, you will be the hub in the organization that keeps things moving forward because you’ll be extremely organized and in the know about customer needs and our capacity as an organization.

You will report to the Office Manager.

About You

  • You have at least two years of relevant experience focusing on customer support and/or scheduling repair jobs.
  • You are teachable and excited to grow in this position for years to come.
  • You are an excellent communicator, empathetic, and highly motivated to serve others well.
  • Your friends would call you focused, organized, driven, and confident.
  • You are humble and quick to own your mistakes without blaming others.
  • You live out the Bragg Avionics values listed above.
