Our client, a global leader in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry, with a focus on sustainability and healthy ingredients has retained our firm to place a Principal Process Engineer-Evaporation and Filtration. This exciting new role, a key member of the Engineering team will support manufacturing operations with a focus on liquid processing, separators, evaporation techniques, spray drying, distillation and membrane filtration areas. They will leverage data analytics and collaborate with technical team to identify trends, provide process and equipment performance evaluations, and recommend improvements to optimize performance and reliability. This position will be based onsite in Indianapolis, IN.
Ideal Experience:

• Senior level engineer demonstrating technical expertise, preferably with liquid processing, separators, evaporation techniques, spray drying, distillation and/or membrane filtration in the food/pharma/nutrition industries.
• Responsible for controlling such equipment as spray dryers, evaporation towers, distillation columns, membrane filtration systems, freeze dryers, etc. to effect required chemical or physical change.
• Research and evaluate alternate technologies to achieve desired process results in a way that optimizes cost, efficiency, ease of operation/maintenance, etc.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and curiosity along with a desire to share knowledge with others to build the competency of the whole team.
• Requires minimum of BS Engineering (MS, PhD Chemical Engineering preferred) with a minimum of 8 years evaporation and filtration experience, preferably in Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
