BrainWorks is partnered with an industry leading manufacturing company located in Neenah, WI for their Employee Relations Specialist vacancy.
Position Overview:
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting positive employee relations and ensuring a healthy work environment. You will be responsible for managing employee relations issues, providing guidance to management and employees, and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues such as harassment allegations, discrimination complaints, and policy violations.
  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct employee investigations with a focus on fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Analyze employee feedback and data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee relations practices.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide training to managers and employees on employee relations topics and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience 2-5 years in employee relations, HR investigations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in coaching and advising managers on employee relations issues.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
