Individuals must be able to execute the following job duties:
Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history
Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
Assist hygienists when needed; seat patients, take x-rays, schedule next hygiene appointment
Prepare trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies
Make temporary crowns & bridges, if needed
Clean and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms as needed
Take high quality digital dental radiographs
Management of supplies & equipment
Patient charting and notes as instructed by the dentist
Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) preferred
Current CPR certification preferred
Radiology certification preferred
Eaglesoft proficiency preferred
iTero Trained preferred
Must be proficient at making temporary crowns, Essix retainers & Whitening Trays
3 years of experience as a DA (a must)
Full Time Position (34 - 40 hours/week)
Mondays: 8 - 7:30
Tuesdays: 8:30 - 5:30
Wednesdays: 7:30 - 5:30
Thursdays: 7:30 - 5:30
Saturdays (1 per month through July) : 7:30 - 1:30
Compensation commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance.
Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Uniform laundry service, Medical Insurance Stipend available, 401k. All benefits available after introductory period. 401k eligible after 1 year.
