Brand+Aid is Hiring an Advanced Bookkeeper / Jr. Controller Near Salt Lake, UT

We are looking for a bookkeeper that has several years of experience in their field. This individual should be detail-oriented, punctual and an effective communicator. A successful candidate will have 5-8 years of bookkeeping experience, the ability to work independently, and has experience in preparing financial statements and budgets.

Description

In this position, you will manage our financial systems, including AP/AR, reconciling receipts and payments, reconciling our bank accounts and ensuring our compliance as we have employees out of state. This role requires someone familiar with Quickbooks Online.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Create financial reports
  • Verify that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the correct category
  • Maintain accounting records and systems
  • Track all commissions, overrides, and bonuses
  • Keep all important spreadsheets up-to-date
  • Assist in developing a budget for the company
  • Support sales and ownership team with questions regarding customer and vendor payments, overdue transactions, etc

Education and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 3 years experience working in the promotional products space or relevant work experience.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
