Position: General Manager

Reports to: Management Company / Owners

Job Description: General Manager Position for a Branded Hotel located in East Tampa, Florida near the Casino.

Applications must be currently located in Central Florida

Summary / Overview: Oversee and manage operations as General Manager of mid-level, top ranking hotel to include maximizing financial performance, guest satisfaction, quality standards, staff development.

Qualification: Experience Hotel General Manager with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the hotel or related industry and possessing strong sales and revenue experience.

Job Description:

Candidate will be an experienced and skilled professional seeking to join our team to further their career in the hospitality industry. Candidate will possess the following skills and strengths:

Leadership – Ability to lead by example while developing staff through hands-on involvement of the daily operations of the hotel. Responsible for hiring, training, developing and coaching staff as well as implementing appropriate discipline keeping in line with company’s policies in place.

Guest Satisfaction – Accountable for monitoring, managing and responding to guest satisfaction issues on a daily basis with a pro-active approach to guest satisfaction in accordance with the brand requirements and standards.

Sales / Marketing – Knowledge of market and local relationships to ensure generation of revenue. Participate in revenue management calls and strategize to capture share of market revenue.

Hotel Operations – Manage occupancy, rates and expenses to provide guest and team member satisfaction.

Finance / Costs - Review financial reports to improve property’s performance and maintain budget and expenses. Manage costs to include supplies, labor, utilities, food and beverage.

Quality Standards – Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs to maintain and protect the physical assets of the hotel and to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
