Brandeis University is Hiring a Senior Program Coordinator Near Waltham, MA

The SeniorProgram Coordinator will work with the senior staff to support the Center in envisioning, creating, and implementing effective programming and in the production of its scholarly publications.
Main responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating organizing, and providing staff support for Crown Seminars, events, Advisory Board meetings, conferences, workshops, fellow searches, trips to the region, and annual retreats. (40%)
  • Producing external and internal Center communications and reports.
  • Managing Crown Center website, social media accounts, and email announcements. (25%)
  • Managing production and distribution of Crown publications including Middle East Briefs,Crown Conversations, and newsletters. (25%)
  • Providing administrative and academic support for the Center and its faculty. (10%)
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years work experience, preferably in an academic or research setting;
  • Experience with desktop publishing software such as InDesign and email platforms such as Mailchimp;
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and editorial skills, and an ability to balance competing priorities and manage time in the face of numerous tasks/projects.
  • Accuracy in work and attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in Middle East studies.
