Client is seeking a experienced CloudOps/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and development processes. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Automate and streamline deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide effective cloud-based solutions.
Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and security of cloud resources.
Ensure cloud security and compliance with industry standards and regulations, addressing vulnerabilities and adhering to frameworks
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable code deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud operations.
Develop and document best practices, policies, and procedures for cloud operations.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Manage cloud resource lifecycle, including provisioning to decommissioning, with a focus on optimization and cost-effectiveness.
QualificationsBachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
Proficiency in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong expertise in automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
Expertise in change management processes, assessing impact, and implementing smooth transitions.
Understanding of VAT implications for cloud services, advising on registration, compliance, and optimization
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
adProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to HaveCertifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic.
Familiarity with cloud security practices and frameworks.
