Pay: Starting at $27/hr

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday- Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Brandon Wilde is recruiting for a hospitality focused Accounting- Billing Specialist to join our team! This position is responsible for Managing the billing process for Private Pay, Lifecare, Hospice, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage Plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize billing software (Point Click Care) to make census changes, enter deposits and charges, generate billing statements, create UB04’s and submit claims.
• Benefits verification for all Medicare Part B payers and serves as a resource for Medicare Part A insurance verification.
• Manage Accounts Receivable; research outstanding payments and bring them to a timely resolution.
• Determine monthly AR allowance for write offs and monthly AR reconciliation via Blackline.
• Assist residents with billing questions and perform research related to billing. 
• Assist in collection of information for the Medicare Cost Report submission.
• Sales & Cash Reports; utilize C3Linc for entrance fees and refunds due reporting. Maintain unit inventory and availability; record census for moves such as transfers, move ins, and move outs. 
• Assist in the distribution of the annual rate increase letters and tax letters. 
• Serve as backup to Accounting Specialists for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Independent Billing. 
• Assist with other projects as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in accounting or related field 
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
• Minimum two years of Medicare billing
