Come join our growing team. We are looking for a Construction Manager to manage the safety, quality, productivity, and cost of all Construction work performed by our local Branch(es).

Responsibilities
- Setup and control of work at all customer sites being serviced by our local branch(es)
- Conduct field take-offs for scaffolding, shoring, access equipment needed for approved projects
- Direct oversight and management of field foremen
- Converse with salespersons for appropriate handover of projects from Sales to Operations to execute work
- Construction worker recruitment and performance/productivity management
- Take part in job Bid Reviews
- Perform Job Briefings (to Field Construction Manager/job Supervisors)
- Assign Crew Allocations to each job based on skill requirements and cost profile
- Initial arrangement of job equipment rentals and maintaining relationship with equipment suppliers
- Arrange all other job setup activities, ie: pre-job purchasing
- Monitor and manage job Cost/Profit daily
- Perform Field Sales/estimating support for Change orders
- Perform emergency purchasing (Company credit card) as required
- Provide direct site supervision when required
- Perform Monthly Safety Inspections
- Check in with customers for performance feedback when making site visits
- Any other reasonable request by direct or senior management
- Must have minimum of 4 years’ experience. BS in Construction Management preferred.
- Must have 1 year Estimating experience.
- Ability to handle a high quantity of administration of paperwork.
- Experience document reviews, including revised project procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and retention of QA documents and records.
- Strong safety culture.
- Experience with Unions a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high-performance teams
- Working knowledge in using personal computer and application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Preferably working knowledge of MS Projects, Primavera, or other PM software applications.
