Brauser Maimonides Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that is committed to academic excellence in both Judaic and General Studies, while maintaining a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment. We have a NAEYC-accredited Early Childhood program that is seeking a Hebrew teacher for a full time position. The candidate must speak Hebrew, be knowledgeable in Jewish holidays, traditions, and Torah as our program integrates Judaic curriculum into everyday experiences and learning.

• Full time position for the upcoming school year 24-25

• Looking for a warm, energetic, team player to join our amazing Early Childhood team

• Native or Fluent Hebrew speaker.

• Plan lessons with the Hebrew team and implement the Hebrew language program, Chalav U’dvash, encouraging the children to be active learners of the language.

• Integrate Jewish holidays and Israel into the Hebrew language program working closely with the co-teacher to plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities.

• Assist with preparation for center time, keeping the classroom organized and general classroom management.

• Assist in the supervision and care of the children in the class.

• Able to comply with the Florida State requirements for Early Childhood programs. Which includes a 45-hours Early Childhood online training.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

This is a fulltime, 10 month position. 7:45 am - 3:45 pm (2:45 pm on Fridays)

Starting date: August 14, 2024
