We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Specialist to join our Restoration Services team in Sonoma County. This role is critical in ensuring that our restoration projects run smoothly from inception to completion, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and possessing soft sales skills. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy, highly organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively to support the project manager and our team of technicians.

Compensation:

$29.50 - $32 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee mitigation projects from the office, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to various stakeholders.
  • De-escalate situations and handle clients with professionalism and empathy, especially during high-stress times.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records in the CRM system.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to keep them informed about project status and address any concerns.
  • Assist the project manager by anticipating needs and taking initiative on tasks to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the project manager.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation are completed and filed appropriately.
  • Utilize soft sales skills to explain estimates, guide clients through the restoration process, and make a positive impact by helping them.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, enhancing their experience and satisfaction with our services.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in any public service industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage and de-escalate difficult situations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with technology, including various web-based platforms and Google Workspace
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Soft sales skills with the ability to explain estimates and sell services by building trust and rapport with clients.
