Job Summary:

An RV/Mobile Home Condominium Association is seeking a Part Time Park Manager that is on-site daily from M – F in the beautiful Florida Keys, specifically Big Pine Key.

The Condo Association represents approximately 100 owners. The association is responsible for the overall management of the park. The park manager takes direction from the leadership of the Association that is called the Board. The park manager will work closely with all the members of the Board and their respective committee members to serve the owners of the park and manage the park’s operations in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements Include:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful RV/Mobile Home Park or comparable property management experience in Florida
  • Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) license in hand or in process
  • Dynamic personality that can work with well with owners, vendors, etc...
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong mediation skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Moderate degree of computer and technical computer skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Known for a high degree of honesty and integrity
  • Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Follows through on assignments to completion.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license

Other Consideration

  • Three (3) or more years of superior customer service experience
  • Prior Florida rental realty experience helpful
  • Full-service hotel or resort management experience encouraged to apply
  • Certified Pool Operator

Responsibilities Include but not limited to the following:

  • Daily inspection of the park property, complete inspection and observation report as needed.
  • Report operational issues to the board.
  • Direct and manage maintenance contractors.
  • Answer email and voice mail promptly and effectively
  • Get the USPS mail, process mail, scan and email invoices, letters, notices et al.
  • Scan and upload copies of deposit checks, prepare deposits, take deposits to the bank.
  • Reconcile AR issues with Treasurer and bookkeeper as needed.
  • Scan and email invoices, statements and financial matters to bookkeeper and Treasurer
  • Collect laundry money, record keeping, make bank deposit.
  • Complete miscellaneous projects on an as needed basis
  • Order supplies
  • Assist with Board Meetings and Minutes as needed.
  • Manage rental operations (consists of one lot and one tenant).
  • Creates and publishes a Quarterly Newsletter to owners
  • Maintains owner database and owner files.

References:

  • References from prior management experience are required.
  • Background Criminal and Credit Check Required

Salary and Benefits:

  • Part Time 20 to 24 hours per week
  • M, T, W, TH, F
  • Compensation to commensurate with experience
  • Time off is available up to a maximum of (3) three weeks per year, without pay.
