Our team in Kansas City currently has an opening for a Strategic Accounts ManagerYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESJob Summary:This position is to fill an integral team member role that helps uncover and create business opportunities to support sustainable growth of our Brenntag Strategic Accounts business. In this role, the individual will work with the highly experienced team of Strategic Account Managers to create and execute the growth plans of our Strategic customers. This role will require a highly motivated, proactive team player, who has passion for learning, aptitude for sales and marketing, and strong ambition to become a future leader.
This position is located in Henderson, KY and reports to the Vice President of Commercial Excellence.
Job Description:
  • Create and implement ideas for process improvement to increase business efficiency and productivity
  • Manage, communicate, and update customer pricing to be aligned with market conditions
  • Responsible for pricing inquiries to contribute overall decision making and business growth
  • Provide solutions to customer requests, issues, and inquires to assure service excellence
  • Responsible for management and execution of RFQ’s (Requests for Quotes) and RFI’s (Request for Information) to support business growth
  • Assist with the development and execution of the strategies and growth plans to service our Strategic customers
  • Work with Strategic Account Managers in order to solve problems, improve profitability, and grow our business
  • Attend customer meeting as needed, create action plans, and assure timely follow up
YOUR PROFILEEducation and Experience:
  • 0-3 years of working experience in B2B
  • Working experience in the chemicals industry is an advantage
  • Working experience in customer service, sales, marketing, and/or purchasing is an advantage
  • Proficient at Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint
  • Strong team player, with high work ethics, eager to learn and contribute
  • Works independently, strategically minded, self-motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Problem solving ability focused on excellent customer service
  • Strong ability to manage complexity and change in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive with good time management skills
  • Excellent communication, organizations, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build enduring relations with customers and colleagues
