Brenntag is Hiring a Water Treatment Technician Near Orlando, FL
- Manage Equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Clean filters as necessary.
- Maintain pH on pit 3 & 4.
- Maintain the necessary chemicals in stock to manage pH .
- Coordinate water removal via trucks as needed.
- Manage water movement to the lift station and to the county.
- Monitor and report on water stream that flow into the water treatment plant.
- Perform analytical water testing as necessary.
- Manage Pits to reduce cost
- Participate in plant safety and other activities
- High School Diploma and/or General Educations Diploma (GED), preferred 1 year plus work experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Job duties require the work to be performed outdoors for majority of the shift
- Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
