A prestigious healthcare system in Maine is searching for Float Pool Registered Nurses for one of its hospitals in Lewiston. In this role, you will be an essential member of the patient care team and responsible for the delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will float between various units, including the Emergency Department, ICU, Day Surgery, Ortho, Telemetry, OB/GYN, and more! This is an exciting opportunity for a new or tenured nurse to expand their skillset across multiple settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• An ADN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
• Active RN license.
• 1 years of acute care experience.
