Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant industry and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Deliver orders to tables promptly
- Assist with menu recommendations and upselling
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle payments and operate the POS system efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide help when needed
- Proficient in basic math for order accuracy
- Knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
