We are seeking a Lab/Test Engineer with extensive experience in configuring and testing hardware devices across both Windows Server and Ubuntu Server platforms. This role will play a critical part in supporting the team on various projects, focusing on software testing on team computers and executing logistical test passes to ensure the functionality of hardware systems.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and develop comprehensive test plans for hardware devices and related software.
• Configure and deploy test machines, both physical and virtual, on Windows and Ubuntu Server platforms.
• Execute test cases and perform hardware diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance the functionality of hardware systems.
• Apply intermediate to advanced configuration skills to support team projects and goals.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Understand and refine existing scripts, identify and resolve issues, and add new features or enhancements.
• Produce detailed reports on test results, diagnostics, and system performance.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in hardware testing, software testing, and quality assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Additional business or functional knowledge and industry experience are preferred.
• Experience in software testing within Azure Cloud, Windows, and Linux server environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, C/C , SQL, etc.). Experience with Rust is a plus.
• Knowledge of personal computer hardware, including the ability to deploy and manage hosts and virtual test machines.
• Familiarity with internet protocols and networking fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and software quality assurance practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is essential.
• Ability to understand, modify, and enhance existing scripts.
