Bridge Specialty Group is Hiring a Business Development Leader Near Hollywood, FL

Summary:
Primary Responsibility is to market products and services to agents in different territories to create new and renewal business.
Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Conduct Agency Visits to market products and services to both potential agents and existing agents.
  • Marketing research to keep agents informed of new products and changes with the product offering of the office.
  • Monitor, identify and develop new methods, markets, and opportunities to grow business.
  • Provide call reports on all agency visits and calls.
  • Foster, Improve and build relationships with companies and producers.
  • Work closely with producers to ensure the best service and provide the best products available to promote growth.
  • Track and Report results on marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate, plan and host product training seminars.
  • Assist in new marketing strategies and analysis.
  • Attend seminars, conventions, etc.

  • Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Safety and security-the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Qualifications:

Required
  • Minimum education or prior job experience- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.
  • Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report
  • Minimum acceptable insurance coverage
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
Ability to travel by both car and plane when needed for the position.
