Within Bridgenext, the Content Studio is dedicated to harnessing the power of visual storytelling to create compelling narratives that resonate with audiences, foster brand affinity, and inspire meaningful action. The Content Studio team blends strategic communications with dynamic production and post-production to create compelling content. We partner with agencies and organizations to ideate, create, promote, and distribute content that connects brands to the right audience at the right moment.
We're in search of a seasoned Business Development Director to join our Content Studio team. Our portfolio spans an array of media, from commercials and TV content to special venue productions, branded content, and corporate video. In this role, your primary goal will be to drive net new revenue and ensure our clients receive unparalleled service, maintaining our position as an industry leader.
As a Business Development Director, you will
  • Lead initiatives to grow revenue and cultivate strong, lasting client relationships within our Content Studio.
  • Use your content marketing and production industry knowledge and network to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, contributing to our division's growth.
  • Play a crucial role in our ongoing success and efforts to scale our services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Actively seek out and engage new business prospects through effective networking and lead generation
  • Develop and oversee strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and key business goals
  • Craft detailed responses to RFIs/RFPs and draft comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Negotiate and establish pricing strategies that align with client needs and service capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tailored media solutions
  • Manage client interactions from initial contact through deal closing, clearly articulating our value proposition
  • Stay updated on industry trends to guide our growth strategies and pinpoint new market opportunities
  • Provide reliable sales forecasts and reports to track progress and inform our business strategies
  • Serve as the face of Bridgenext at industry events, enhancing our brand's visibility and reputation
Workplace New York, NY or Remote position in United States with travel as needed. Those in NYC area will have opportunity to work a hybrid model and engage with the team face to face more often
Must Have Skills
  • 10 years of experience in sales or account management, specifically within the video production industry
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives
  • An understanding of production workflows
  • Experience working with a range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies
  • Successful at growing accounts and being involved with new business pitches
