Community FoundationMiami, FL (Hybrid)Salary: $70,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experienceTerrific Foundation and Corporate Relations Officer position with a large foundation committed to strengthening the communities of South Florida and furthering philanthropic initiatives across the country. This position will oversee the full lifecycle (pre- and post-award) of fundraising for a portfolio of funders that are interested in supporting specific program areas or the foundation as a whole. The position will be responsible for gaining an understanding of the various programs supported by the foundation and providing recommendations to potential funders based on their philanthropic goals. There will be a focus on building strong relationships with organizations and the community as a whole. This position will collaborate with team members throughout the organization to craft funding proposals. Candidates should have approximately 5 years of related fundraising experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. This position is based in the Miami area and operates on a hybrid schedule. The salary for this position is $70,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience.
Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation partners and build relationships with prospective funders
- Provide superior levels of stewardship to ensure that funders see that their philanthropic goals are being met
- Research foundation and corporate partners to cultivate and solicit new philanthropic partnerships
- Assist funders with formulating plans and goals for their giving
- Ensure compliance with grant agreements and reporting
- Develop funding proposals in collaboration with various internal teams
- Maintain accurate and up to date donor records
- Attend events and donor/funder meetings in the Miami area
- Approximately 5 years of relevant fundraising experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to juggle changing priorities
- Demonstrated track record of managing relationships with foundation and corporate partners
- Ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships
- Experience with a donor CRM
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and meetings
- Knowledge of donor advised funds is a plus
