Job Description
- Serve as a thought-partner to the VP of Communications on significant marketing and communications initiatives
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to assess their marketing and communications needs for projects and events
- Manage the marketing and communications plans for the organization's large-scale multi-faceted annual event
- Ensure that strategic plans stay on track
- Create content for all marketing channels (I.e., social and traditional media)
- Ensure that communications are consistent with the organization's brand identity
- Oversee the website; create new content, web pages, and micro-sites
- Provide analysis of data to inform marketing and communication decisions
- Approximately 8 years of relevant marketing and communications experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Management experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing communications and/or marketing plans
- Passionate about making an impact in underserved communities
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with content design, website management, or market research a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
