Accounts Payable Specialist Job SummaryHere at BridgePoint Healthcare the Accounts Payable Specialist compiles and reviews Accounts Payable documents and prepares document batches for processing; reviews completed accounts payable runs; prepares special manual checks; responds to employee and vendor inquiries; and prepares and maintains accounts payable records and reports. The Accounts Payable Specialist assists vendors statement review, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounting tasks as assigned.
QualificationsEducation: Associate degree or equivalent
Licenses/Certification: N/A
Experience: 3 years of experience in accounts payable or any accounting/finance position required; hospital or healthcare a plus
Other Qualifications: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining detail oriented, Experience with multi-company processing is a plus. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
