Bridgeton Public Schools is Hiring a 10-Month Secretary - Media Near Bridgeton, NJ

High School Diploma or GED required
Public School or Library experience preferred
Valid NJ Driver's License preferred
Ability to travel from school to school as needed
Collaborate with the media specialist to maintain a diverse collection of resources.
Maintain an accurate inventory of media materials and equipment.
Assist with the cataloging, shelving, and circulation of library materials.
Regularly update records and track circulation.
Assist students and teachers with locating and using media center materials including research and reference work, automated catalog system, indexes, and reference tools.
Provide guidance on research techniques and the use of library resources.
Collaborate with faculty to organize and maintain materials and equipment for classroom instruction.
Support district policies related to literacy initiatives, data privacy, and security.
Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the media center. Ensure the care of the physical environment including equipment and furniture.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the media specialist or school administration.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
