TITLE: Data Engineer
LOCATION: Denver, CO (Hybrid)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Effectively bring data from external environments into the internal environment
- Build clean datasets in SQL Server for further BI needs
- Will use ETL/ELT tools such as tray.io, PowerShell, SSIS, etc
- Use of automation tools as they meet business needs
- Will work with large datasets from many different tools
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering role (business intelligence, data science, data engineering, etc.)
- 3 years of SQL Server database engineering experience
- Expert SQL and T-SQL query skills
- Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
- Understanding of data stewardship
- Ability to validate logic with limited oversight and limited technical documentation
- PowerShell (nice to have)
- tray.io experience (nice to have)
- git repository for data analytics (nice to have)
- Python for data engineering (nice to have)
- Analytical and problems solving skills
- Ability to bridge the gap, speak both business and information technology languages
- Degree in an analytical field (finance, accounting, mathematics, computer science, economics) or equivalent
