Bridgewater Chocolate is looking for an enthusiastic and hard working to be the Assistant Retail Store Manager at our West Hartford CT Store, located at 12 Lasalle Rd, West Hartford, CT 06107!

We are currently seeking the right individual to support the Retail Store Manager by assisting with daily operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience. People who have a positive outlook and enjoy interacting with customers are encouraged to apply.

This is a position requires 20 to 30 hours a week, morning, afternoon, evening and weekend availability is required for this role.

Essential Functions:

· Helping the Retail Store Manager uphold company standards, having a customer focus and creating an exception customer experience

· Assisting the Retail Store Manager with daily tasks, including but not limited to, processing orders and returns, organization of banking information and change, and monthly inventory

· Being available to fill in shifts as needed if the manager is not available

· Being a secondary point of contact to all staff members to support them with nay questions or other needs

· Assist with training part-time staff member and acting as lead when the Manager is not available

· Upholding of all policies and procedures regarding record-keeping, cash-handling, inventory management, and food safety

· Balancing executing in-store sales as well as phone orders and customer service

· Have working knowledge of POS systems and the ability to trouble shoot

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25-30 per week
