Position: 2654 – Contract Manager **No C2C or 3rd Party Applicants*

Location: Hybrid/Rosemead, CA (on-site Tuesday)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of complex grid interconnection agreements to our Client’s transmission and distribution systems, from contract execution through termination.

· Act as the primary point of contact to external and internal customers on the project and contractual matters.

· Understanding of contractual obligations and ensuring terms are met and stay on timeline.

· Draft various contractual-related documents, including amendments to existing interconnect agreements, consent to assignments, termination notices, default notices, initial sync notices, and permission to operate notices.

· Applies technical and contractual knowledge to solve problems and customer requests and move projects through contract milestones.

· Operates in a project management capacity.

· Regularly interacts with customers to provide landmark updates/guidelines, contract interpretation, project updates, etc., throughout the project lifecycle

· Must be very organized, managing up to 70 different clients and contracts.

· Tracking meetings, 2-3 meetings per day, tracking project meetings attending various meetings, accountability to stay organized and coordinate, facilitates meetings, develop agendas, summarizes and documents decisions, action items, and tracks project landmarks.

· Participates in technical discussions with engineering and project managers.

Required Education, Knowledge & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree

· Five (5) or more years of overall experience in contract or program management.

· Experience working with contract regulations and agreements.

· Experience negotiating and terminating contracts.

· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience

· Renewable, utility, solar, background is a plus

· Electric Utility Industry experience.

· Experience managing or reviewing regulatory agreements/contracts related to FERC and/or CPUC regulatory tariffs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
