JOB SUMMARY:
With guidance, you the Purchasing Agent will oversee the handling of procurement activities. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule tailored to suit the needs of Bridging Access to Care. Get ready to dive into an exciting role with B.A.C! The program provides help to expand and strengthen treatment and recovery support services for individuals (including youth and families) experiencing homelessness who have substance use disorders or co-occurring mental and substance use disorders communities.
WORK EXPERIENCES:
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be in good health.
EDUCATION:
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain competitive bids, RFPs, and other competitive solicitations as needed to acquire goods and services.
- Supervise the procurement and ordering of all agencies supplies and equipment, including but not limited to custodial supplies, office supplies, office equipment, furniture, computer hardware, and software.
- Process supply orders promptly according to the ordering process.
- Effectively manage the procurement ordering process from assignment to payment completion, including Micro purchases, small purchases, large purchases, and MWBE innovative procurements.
- Work with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct sourcing activities to identify reliable suppliers and maintain vendor relationships.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing activities.
- Prepare and submit weekly invoicing packages for payment processing.
- Record invoices with supporting documents to match sites or programs.
- Prepare Receiving Reports for Accounts Payable.
- Maintain and update the agency's "Approved Vendor" list.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and MRP systems.
- Ability to analyze pricing data and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.

- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and analytical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.

- Willingness to work flexible hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.60 - $25.00 per hour
