Bridging the Gap Therapy Solutions is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Tampa, FL
Board Certified Behavior Analyst owned and operated practice looking for mental health billing specialist. We would prefer a candidate with previous Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or therapy billing experience but it is not required. Willing to train the right candidate with medical billing experience. This is a full-time position (40 hours) in our Tampa Clinic.
Duties are to include (but not limited to) –
- Billing insurance ethically per insurance guidelines
- Calling insurance and verifying benefits
- Reviewing insurance benefits with clients
- Assisting with accounts receivable
- Auditing medical records prior to claim submission
- Assisting with hiring and new employee intake
Work Experience Required
- 1-2 years of insurance billing experience
- Experience in mental health or therapy billing
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Has attention to detail and efficient at data entry skills.
