Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher/Family Worker with a Bachelor's Degree and P-3 Certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to nurturing young minds. Instructional coaching and professional development will be provide to qualified candidate. We are affiliated with the North Arlington public schools. They house their Pre-K 4 classroom in our building. Program begins in September!

Responsibilities:

- Report to the center director and coordinate social services activities with appropriate school district social services staff.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs
- Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive learning experiences

- Collaborate with the school district staff to ensure family involvement and social services activities occur.
- Coordinate participation in health and social services designated by the school district to serve the needs of the children and their families.
- Provide all requested data to the school district.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and P-3 Certificate
- Previous experience in daycare, tutoring, or preschool teaching
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum or other progressive teaching methods is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate and inspire young children
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
