Responsibilities
- Maintain 100% service – Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner
- Drive safely by following the company safety plan and additional training
- Complete Daily DOT inspection for your vehicles before and after each route
- Comply with drug testing as required
- Treat customers with respect
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning and marking all packages
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures when handling and delivering packages
- Ensure truck and packages are secure at all times
- Wear proper uniform while at work at all times
- Ensure all Safety Incidents are properly reported to the Business Contacts (Managers)
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must satisfactorily pass the orientation/training program instructions by an ML Delivery qualified driver trainer
- Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- 1 Year of Verifiable Driving Experience for a job in the past 3 years or 5 years in the past 10 years
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by FedEx!)
- No felonies /violent misdemeanors or drug-related misdemeanors in the last 10 years
- Physically able to handle packages up to 50 lbs
Paid by the day: $150
Paid Training: 2 weeks $125 per day
