Bright Home Health is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male CNA to provide quality care to a Male client in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This is a temporary part-time, hourly position with the opportunity for full-time. As a CNA, you will be an individual contributor, responsible for providing personalized care to our client. Responsibilities:
- Administer personal care to male client, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of adaptive equipment as needed
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse
- Support the client with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household chores
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for the client
- Report any concerns or issues to the client's healthcare team
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with the client and their family members
Requirements:
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Oklahoma
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation to and from client's residence
