Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism. Duties:
- Implement behavior management strategies outlined in care plans
- Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on children with autism
- Conduct behavioral therapy sessions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using established methods
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and continuity of care
- Provide support and guidance to individuals and their families

Skills:
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and principles
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy approaches and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
