Your Purpose 

As a Manager, Pricing and Revenue Management Operations at Brightline, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue through implementing effective pricing strategies and inventory control. You will lead the development of pricing and promotional programs and work across departments to implement, activate, analyze, report, and make recommendations for ongoing PRM optimization. Additionally, you will lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.

Your Role

  • Determine seat allocations to optimize the fare mix, forecast demand for each fare product, and manage seat sales to account for seasonality, cancellations, and no-shows.

  • Analyze trends in fare usage, revenue, and markets. Gain insight from case studies, surveys, and competitive pricing studies to identify promotions.

  • Drive capacity utilization and revenue optimization through data collection, in-house modeling, and robust analysis.

  • Develop strategic long-term and promotional short-term pricing strategies.

  • Develop a team of analysts to drive day-to-day revenue production, and determine revenue-maximizing strategies, and automation opportunities.

  • Work cross-functionally with Analytics and Decision Science teams on system configuration and enhancements, inventory automation processes, and reporting needs
  • Report key KPIs and progress against initiatives to senior leadership regularly
  • Continued development/refinement of best practices and training of both 3rd-party and internal revenue management systems/solutions
  • Works collaboratively with marketing, finance, data science, operations, and other stakeholders to drive overall revenue performance and champion continuous improvement across the business
  • Validate reports and data at different levels of granularity
  • Support shaping of the Pricing Strategy within the F&B, Parking, Mobility, Groups and Distribution teams
  • Provide frequent performance updates to key stakeholders including senior leadership\

Your Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Experience working with revenue management systems, processes, and automation with a solid understanding of demand forecasting and optimization
  • Knowledgeable in revenue management systems, demand forecasting, and optimization types with a proven track record of delivering continuous improvements
  • Thorough understanding of revenue management fundamentals beyond core yield management with experience collaborating between multiple groups to drive revenue production
  • Demonstrates consistent deductive skills; strong critical thinking skills
  • Eye for identifying the need for process improvements and the ability to translate into an action plan
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint required; experience with Python, R, or similar languages preferred
  • 5 years of experience in pricing and revenue management preferred
  • 2 years of experience with day-to-day usage of a revenue management system preferred
  • Airline, hotel, cruise revenue management experience preferred
