Job Title: Shipping & Receiving / Inventory Clerk

General Responsibilities: Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule. Responsibilities include reviewing, counting, packing, marking, stocking, and shipping Finished Goods. This role also involves distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; collaborating with department supervisors to track the progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on work progress, inventory levels, costs, and production issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review production orders to determine material requirements; count, pack, mark, and stock Finished Goods.
• Maintain inventories of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
• Arrange the delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies and parts to expedite material flow and meet production schedules.
• Serve as a backup for receiving and verifying incoming items against bills of lading or purchase orders. Inspect incoming items for damage.
• Unload and transport items using a hand truck if necessary.
• Place items in stock and issue materials to various departments as required by manufacturing planning sheets.
• Assign bin locations, handle miscellaneous issues, pull/issue kits, conduct daily cycle counts, analyze cycle count discrepancies, manage parts disposal per Design Change Notice (DCN), and maintain parts identification and storage.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work environment by adhering to high health and safety standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Execute shipments using UPS, FedEx, and DHL Ship Manager.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.

Work Environment/Conditions:

• Must be capable of walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
