Brightstar care is looking for a 1:1 RN for a medically complex elementary student. Hours would begin at the child's home around 730am continue onto school and for afternoon bus return around 330pm. No Weekends!

Schedule option- 2, 3, or 5 full days

Duties will include the following:

Implement plan of care and treatment using sound judgment and critical thinking. Provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing process.

Prepare and administer medications, support necessary G-Tube feedings and their preparation and appropriately document actions taken to meet the goals of the clients Care Plan. Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adheres to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency.

Perform all care needs including ADLs in addition to nursing duties.

Recognize the need for and institute emergency measures in a rapid and appropriate manner.

Requirements:

● Current, valid state NH RN license in good standing

● Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification.

● Recent wellness exam and negative TB skin test (provided if needed)

● G-Tube experience

● Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

● Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
