Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating appointments and schedules for our patients and caregivers/ nurses and therapists. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service. This is a challenging and extremely rewarding position with fast-track to Branch Manager / Director of Operations roles
Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments using our ABS scheduling system
- Coordinate and manage the daily schedule for multiple caregivers / nurses / home care patien
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out using top star intake and discharge processes
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with medical administrative support and Clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Assist with other office tasks as assigned, including HR // Recruiting / Skill Checks and related documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical scheduling or front desk operations preferred
- Proficiency in using scheduling systems such
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working in fast-paced home health, doctor/spcialist, hospital settings
