BrightStar Care is looking for several Home Health Aides in the NEW BOSTON AREA 48164 to look after a high acuity patient who needs 24/7 home and nursing care. There will also be a nurse assigned to this client as well (two-person team).

CAREGIVER $18.50hr

Shifts needed are: 7a-7p & 7p-7a

Responsibilities

· Assist with all of client’s ADLs, Provide instant medical care in emergencies

· Prepare meals for client (must be a reasonably good cook)

· Must be comfortable driving a modified wheelchair accessible van as client likes to go out places.

· Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Requirements:

· Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

· Minimum one (2) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility preferred.

· Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills

· Licensed driver with proof of automobile insurance w/reliable transportation

· Ability to work on weekends, nights, and holidays

· Must know how to safely operate a Hoyer lift
