Job Description:

BrightStar Care of Omaha is urgently seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional in-home skilled nursing care. We are hiring multiple candidates for this full-time position, offering flexible scheduling for 8 or 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends. This is a 24/7 case, providing the opportunity to work with one client in a home setting and deliver personalized care and attention. As a Registered Nurse at BrightStar Care of Omaha, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care in the comfort of their own homes. You will have the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with the family, providing not just medical care, but also emotional support and companionship. Your expertise with ventilators and tracheostomies will be essential in managing and improving your client's health and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality in-home skilled nursing care to a single client
• Manage and care for patients with ventilators and tracheostomies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document the patient's condition and progress
• Collaborate with the client's healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide education and support to the client and their family members
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Nebraska
• Minimum of 1-year experience with ventilators and tracheostomies
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
