BrightStar Care of Plymouth is a growing home care agency, and we are hiring for a talented Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home one-on-one personal cares and homemaking for our clients within our primary service area.
This is a Part-Time position, must be able to commit to 2-3 days/15-25 hours per week. We DO NOT have late evenings or overnight shifts. Case assignments are short, 4-hours or less! We can build out a schedule for you if you're available anytime in between 8am-5pm.
This is a TRAVELING POSITION. MUST be able to DRIVE within our Primary Service Areas: Plymouth, Maple Grove, New Hope, Crystal, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Wayzata, and Minnetonka.
Home Health Aide/HHA Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR Certified
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Caregiver, preferred but not required
MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL up to 25 MILES within company's territory, as needed
Must have Driver's License with insured, reliable transportation
Must have a smart phone to utilize mobile apps for schedules and clocking in/out
Home Health Aide/HHA Essential Duties:
Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
Perform activities of daily living (ADL) as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, meal preparation and feeding
Linen changes and light housekeeping
Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight
Monitoring of client's conditional changes, charting and reporting to the Director of Nursing
Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, assist client to doctor appointments and other outdoor activities as needed
Other duties assigned by DON, including computer work in the office if necessary
