Job Description Summary
BrightStar Care is looking for a goal-oriented RN community liaison, with a proven track record in the market, to join our dynamic and growing team in Northern Virginia. The Nurse Liaison is responsible for developing new business and growing existing business in an effort to increase sales – home care and medical staffing – by establishing and maintaining professional contacts that will develop into sales leads. They will have a strong presence in the community and actively promote the BrightStar Care brand. The ideal candidate is an RN who is highly motivated, results driven, and able to develop and build strong, lasting relationships. Important:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Research, develop and execute Annual Sales Plans.
• Develop new referrals and maintain existing ones to enhance overall sales.
• Generate new business from referral sources.
• Call on referral sources – healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, case managers, etc. – to educate them on our services in order to generate sales for both HealthCare Staffing and Private Duty Home Care services.
• Join and attend area networking groups’ events.
• Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community.
• Establish and maintain excellent working rapport with health care professionals and referral sources.
• Meet or exceed established sales targets.
• Other duties as assigned.
• On-Call one night/week (may be a weekend night) & 1 Holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid Virginia or Compact Registered Nurse license
• Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of health care in home and institutional setting.
• 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience
• 3 years as a registered nurse
• Goal oriented. Comfortable with closing/asking for business.
• Exhibit a service attitude towards the community.
• Ability to work with an electronic sales/contacts management software.
• Ability to handle confidential information and sign confidentiality agreement.
• Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
