Position Requirements
- Provides residents with assistance with daily life activities
- Reports on resident's health status
- Observes and documents the health, condition and eating habits of each resident, promptly reporting any changes to the nurse
- Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for residents
- Encourages residents to be as independent as able in daily living activities
- Builds relationships with, and provides care and support to residents and their families
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role, preferably from within a long-term care, assisted living and/or memory care community
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Caring and compassionate disposition
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving and transporting residents
- Flexibility: you will be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the community. Position may require working weekend and evening hours and/or on-call status
