TITLE: CHEMICAL BLENDER

STATUS: FULL TIME

REPORTS TO: PLANT MANAGER

BASIC FUNCTIONS: BLENDING OF RAW MATERIALS

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Ensure proper blending and storage of chemical and epoxy materials as per guidelines established by the Plant Manager.

· Maintain proper storage of raw materials in accordance with MSDS, MIOSHA, state, and federal regulations, as well as directives from the Plant Manager.

· Take samples and conduct appropriate tests to ensure quality standards are met.

· Keep a detailed and up-to-date blending log, recording activities daily.

· Strictly adhere to safety policies and practices.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Thorough understanding of material flow throughout plant

· Interface with production and warehouse employees to ensure that strategic goals and procedural requirements are being met.

· Ensure that safety, responsible care and other applicable procedures are followed.

· Specific work assignments may be assigned by the plant manager as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIRMENTS:

· One or more years chemical blending experience preferred.

· Must have hi-lo experience

· Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and high-level attention to detail.
