Manager, Financial Reporting | Hybrid | $125k - $145k Bonus

The Financial Reporting Manager ensures the accuracy of financial consolidation and coordinates the preparation of the company's consolidated financial statements and periodic financial filings. This role includes researching technical accounting issues and supporting the Controller group in managing the company's accounting policies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidation process, including compiling consolidated balance sheets and income statements.
• Prepare annual financial statements and footnote disclosures for business entities as required.
• Conduct accounting research to determine the appropriate financial accounting treatment for significant or unusual transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and equity transactions like share-based payments.
• Reconcile stock compensation accounts for review and approval, managing stock-based compensation accounting.
• Draft and manage accounting policies, including implementation guidance and examples.
• Serve as the technical expert, providing accounting guidance for transactions considered and executed by executive management.
• Review and monitor internal controls, including Internal Audit reviews.
• Assist in integrating new businesses into the organizational structure. Provide financial analysis and valuation support for acquisitions and other ad-hoc financial projects, including purchase accounting as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• 4 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and external reporting processes.
• Demonstrated technical accounting proficiency with the ability to review, research, and interpret new accounting standards.
