- Responsibility for all business application systems and IT Infrastructure, projects and support requirements in North America
- Scope of work include: staff management, project execution, IT strategy, support and budgeting for multiple plant locations.
- Ensuring local systems are in line with both central IT standards and local business needs.
- Managing relationships with local internal business customers and central IT organizations.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of SAP ERP and MES is required. Having the ability to support and have some hands-on experience with managing a successful SAP environment is critical.
- Maximization of uptime in a 24x7 multi-site manufacturing environments
- Project and vendor management
- IT Incident response and resolution
- Establishing SOP’s and standards work instructions.
- Ultimately responsible for all disaster recover processes and procedures.
- Good understanding and of management of IT infrastructure, networks, storage and a data center.
- Participate in SOX and TISAX audits and compliance support for IT systems.
- Support continuous improvement for IT (optimize, standardize, simplify).
- Coordinate projects with global business systems and infrastructure support teams.
- Continuously evaluate the team’s capabilities and ensure growth and availability of capacity.
- 10 years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment supporting enterprise level systems
- 5 years IT management experience
- Must be familiar with SAP ERP, and EDI
- SAP Experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects to completion on time and on budget
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time
