Summary of Qualifications: Brillient Corporation is currently seeking an Additive Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join it's Team supporting a federal contract, FDA.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Organize incoming workload and set appropriate expectations for scheduling and quality.
2. Comply with all standard operating procedures, maintenance schedules, and quality protocols.
3. Organize and maintain laboratory supplies.
4. Repair STL files using Magics software.
5. Communicate technical status of assigned projects to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
6. Provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.
7. Verify and repair CAD data using SolidWorks, Freeform Plus, Netfabb, and Materialise Magics software. NOTE: The government will furnish all software.
8. Independently operate the equipment in the AMMP facility after training
9. Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of available resources throughout the Office that facilitates completion of project assignments as expected (e.g., other equipment and capacity)
10. Communicate with management and research teams to ensure optimal build platforms are selected and post build finishing requirements are efficient.
11. Prepare scientific papers, reviews, and reports as needed to document the vendor’s activities in support of the Additive Manufacturing of Medical Products Lab.
12. Review regulatory database and provide reports on trends in cleared additively manufactured devices
13. Attend all safety trainings related to the job.
14. Other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Requirement: Minimum eight (8) years of related experience.

Other Requirement(s): This position requires U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card holder and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government public trust level security clearance. For a candidate that is a Green Card holder, they must have lived in the United States for at least three out of the past five years prior to your application date. You will also meet the residency qualifications if you lived abroad while on government or military duty or if you were a dependent of a federal employee of military member.

4. Must possess strong project management skills and must have a strong command for minutes and business writing
5. Familiarity with federal regulations and policies relevant to the regulatory review processes
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and JIRA.
7. Expert knowledge of project management tools and repositories including Microsoft SharePoint and Project

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple demands and deadlines.
