Job Description
Hours: 40 hours/ week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5:30 pm
Department | Location: Porter Hills Village | Garden Apartments | Environmental Services
Overview:
The Residential Housekeeper performs general cleaning functions for the EVS Department to assure that our community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
What you'll do:
- Completes daily housekeeping functions assigned.
- Cleans residents rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways as assigned.
- Ensures that cleaning schedules are maintained.
- Uses high standards for cleanliness and universal precautions.
- Create cleaning schedules directly with residents.
- Communicate and troubleshoot issues directly with residents
- Clean townhomes and Garden Apartments throughout the entire Porter Hills Village premises.
What it takes:
- Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment preferred
